A great tea to give your general health a boost and bring balance to various functions in the body. Mild flavour with terrific health benefits. Rich in antioxidants, supports brain function, helps protect bone density, helps burn off pounds of fat, etc. I love that it's not ruined with sugar or artificial flavours/sweeteners. Thank you DAVIDsTEA!
Tried this one on a whim, looking for green tea to try, and I really like it. The toasted rice flavour is earthy and a nice complement to the green tea flavour.
FRANCHEMENT !
Shipping cost
The shipping cost was way too much. Paid the same for shipping as the tea. Won't do that again. My fault for not being aware. Purchased for a Taiwanese student so didn't taste it yet.
Tea taste great, not many I don't like. I am curious how a Tea Company lets itself run out of inventory ( of all things)... tea filters! It has now happened twice in the last year or two.
Otherwise all good.
Smells like something burnt on the stove
I didn't like it, the smell was what put me off. I found it smelled like something had burnt on the stove. The taste isn't bad though, like everyone has mentioned it tastes nutty with a hint of sweetness. Having said this, I don't regret trying it. It's just unfortunate that the smell puts me off.

Shopping for Sencha
I had another great experience at David's Tea in Fairview. Em was very helpful in filing my requirement for Sencha Organic tea. She gave me all the instructions and even weighed out what one perfect spoon of Sencha would be (4g if you're interested).
David's Tea is a great shopping experience and the tea is delicious! Thank you!
Steep at a lower temperature for pure heaven
Historically I haven't been a big green tea drinker. I ordered this due to its high rating and I noticed when it arrived that the instructions were to steep it at a lower temperature (170oF) and only for 1-2 minutes. I followed the directions carefully and the result was the most wonderful, complex, delicate flavor! It was so good that I recently ordered two more packages!
