This fudgy matcha tea latte recipe combines all the richness of cocoa with the delicious benefits of matcha powder.
Made with our fresh & vibrant Organic Matcha Matsu green tea, this cozy, feel-good indulgence is your one-way ticket to finding sweet satisfaction. The addition of fluffy marshmallows is optional but highly recommended!
Things to Note: We recommend using a bamboo whisk—soak in hot water for about a minute before you start to keep it in good condition!
When you whisk your matcha, make an “M” (for matcha!) formation with your movements.
Using unsweetened matcha? Make sure to sift it to get the clumps out.
ingredients:
1 Perfect Spoon (2 ½ tsp) cocoa powder
120 ml (4 oz) cup hot water
1-2 tsp sugar or maple syrup
1½ cup frothed hot milk of choice
2 Perfect Matcha Spoons (1 tsp) Organic Matcha Matsu
60 ml (2 oz) cup hot water
recipe:

Dissolve cocoa powder in 120 ml (4 oz) cup hot water, then add sugar or maple syrup.
- Add frothed milk of your choice to cocoa mixture and then pour the hot chocolate into a cup.

In a bowl, whisk 60 ml (2 oz) matcha in hot water (tip: let it rest 5 minutes after boiling to reach the right temperature).
- Add whisked matcha to hot chocolate.
- Top with marshmallows—your inner child will thank you.
