Exactly what I expected and it was in good condition. I can't wait to taste everything !
I ordered this when it was first brought back and was so excited as it was one of my favourites (ordered 250 g!)....I steeped it for over 5 mins as I usually do when making a tea latte. And it tasted like poison. Extremely bitter. I tried another bag to see if it was the same, and it was. After experimenting, I found this to be the case every time if the tea steeps a second over 5 minutes. Wondering if I got a really bad batch or if something was added to the ingredients to account for the crazy bitterness.
I love every one of the blends I’ve ever purchased from DavidsTea! I especially am fond of the Simply Maple Breakfast tea and the Brown Sugar Bourbon. Always worth sticking up during a good sale as I pretty much sail through mine stash!
Delicieux
PerfectFall Tea
This is a perfect fall tea but I'll go a step further and say this is a perfect "breakfast" tea! It's absolutely delicious and it has so many wonderful flavors! The black tea stands out as the main event in this tea and that's what I want. Something as powerful as cardamom pods can easily wash over the black tea in this case but DavidsTea has done it again: The took a blend and made sure the TEA is still the start of the show and I love the beautiful, bright sweetness from the cinnamon, cardamom and sugar and to wrap it up, a little hint of vanilla at the end of your sip. Wrap that cashmere sweater around you and make this cozy cuppa whether you're in chilly New England or in air-conditioned Florida comfort, this tea brings a perfect way to wake up every morning. Please keep this in your forever collection, DT!
Unfortunately Underwhelmed
Although the dry tea has a reasonably spicy scent I found this did not come through at all once steeped and there was virtually no sweetness either, it tasted like a strong but plain black tea.

Hi Rowan! We would like to thank you very much for getting in touch with your feedback. We are sorry to hear this was not your cup of tea!
This is a delicious blend of tea. The warm cardamom and syrup-like flavour works wonderfully as a tea. Will definitely consider purchasing this again.
Happy It's Back!
A little bit sweet, a little bit of spice but it tastes nice. Enjoyed this when it first came out & was happy to see it back. I've enjoyed it hot & as a hot latte. It's like having a liquid treat. Curious to hear from either staff or others if this tea works as a cold latte.

Hi Johanna, we are sorry to hear you didn't enjoy your Cardamom French Toast Tea! We appreciate your feedback and have shared this with our team
Tea is Tasty but Cost is Nasty
This tea like most of David's teas is good but absolutely not worth the cost and I even got it on sale. As much as I would love to order from David's more for specific flavors I like, the cost just isn't justified when I can get good flavors local.

Cardamom French toast tea
I really enjoy the tea. I was happy to see I could purchase it online as I could not find it anywhere
One of the best
Every time I make this tea for guests who "don't like tea", they change their minds. This is so flavourful and interesting and delicious that it's nearly guaranteed to impress people. I've been buying it every time it's been available because it's so worth it.
Cardamom French Toast
I like the cardamom in this tea blend but I find that it overpowers the other ingredients. I can also tastes the coriander. I give it 3. 5 out of 5 stars.
Boast about the Toast
Cardamom is a good tea on its own. You don't need to add a lot to it to make it great. However, this tea is packed full of extra spice that compliment an already stellar tea.
