Raspberry No-jito

Raspberry No-jito

Mocktails
Fruity & alcohol-free, this no-jito is made for sipping whenever the urge strikes

Sometimes the situation simply calls for a mojito. But if you’re looking for a booze-free version of this classic Cuban cocktail, we’ve got you covered—and ours adds a hit of tart raspberry for a sweeter, juicier take!

For a standard mojito, you’d muddle together mint leaves, sugar and zesty lime juice, then top it with rum and soda water for a fresh, citrusy fizz. Here, we’ve added some ripe raspberries and swapped out the rum for our Raspberry Mojito herbal tea for a pretty pink & berry fresh twist.

The best part? This no-jito is entirely alcohol-free, so you can sip as many as your heart desires without needing to worry about a hangover!

ingredients:

2 Perfect Spoons Raspberry Mojito loose leaf tea

120 ml (4 oz) hot water, for steeping

6 fresh raspberries

6 fresh mint leaves

1 tsp granulated sugar

¼ lime

120 ml (4 oz) lime-flavoured sparking water

1 cup ice

recipe:
  1. Steep loose leaf tea in hot water for 5-6 minutes. Set aside to cool slightly.

  2. In your glass, combine raspberries, mint leaves and granulated sugar.

  3. Use a cocktail muddler to mash everything together until the raspberries release their juice and the mint is fragrant. Tip: don’t overdo it or the mint will get bitter.

  4. Squeeze in the lime and give it a quick stir to combine.

  5. Pack the glass generously with ice, then pour the steeped tea over the ice.

Top it off with sparkling water (pour slowly if you want it to stay bubbly).

Give it one gentle stir and that’s it! Garnish with an extra mint sprig and a lime if you’re feeling fancy.
