Merrier than mint? We can’t think of anything. That’s why we partnered with our fellow Montrealers at Good Protein to create a new Holiday Special beverage, the Choco Mint Protein Matcha.

This isn’t the first time we’ve worked with Good Protein (we’ve shared recipes before for other protein-powered drinks on our social channels), but this time, we went a step further and launched the Holiday Special at all of our locations as one of the signature beverages served at our Tea Bar.

Made with our Organic Candy Cane Matcha and Good Protein’s Mint Chocolate Chip All-in-One Shake, this combo is not only deliciously festive, it’s also packed with protein. The recipe below makes one 16 oz serving that contains a whopping 16 g—and of course, it also contains all the benefits of matcha.

ingredients:

5 Perfect Matcha Spoons (2 ½ tsp) Organic Candy Cane Matcha

90 ml (3 oz) hot water

10 oz (300 ml) milk of choice*

*For an iced version, use 4 oz (120 ml)

3 Perfect Spoons (2 ½ tbsp) Good Protein Mint Chocolate Chip All-in-One Shake

recipe:

Add matcha to a 16 oz (475 ml) cup.
Add hot water, then combine with a handheld milk frother.
In a separate cup, warm up your milk (skip this step if you’re making an iced version).
Go a step further and make it extra decadent with whipped cream and crushed candy cane on top!
