Meet matcha’s cozy cousin, Supreme Hojicha Powder. This roasted Japanese green tea comes in micro-ground powder form for a super-smooth brew with a rich & nutty flavour. Ours is shade grown then deveined and destemmed before roasting for a super smooth taste and feel. And because it's roasted, it's naturally lower in caffeine, making it the ideal go-to for afternoons or evenings when you want to skip the second (or third, we don’t judge) cup of matcha or coffee. Bonus, it also makes a delicious hot or iced latte—and you can use it in all the same ways as matcha!

The Hojicha smells like overcooked popcorn when wet, which I find very addicting :D I like that it doesn’t have as much caffeine as Matcha, so it can be sipped later in the day, and I am still able to sleep at night.

Exactly what au was hoping for A local tea shop sells a hojicha black sesame latte I've been trying to replicate. This powder is a must for the base. Even just adding some vanilla syrup gets it extremely close to the tea shop's and I love it! Super earthy otherwise.
