Everyone has tried this classic flavour. And yet our Organic Earl Grey is different. It’s made with an exceptional mix of rare, ethically-grown, high-altitude black teas. Pure oil of bergamot, a citrus fruit, gives it an aroma that’s headier than usual. It's equally delicious enjoyed with milk and sugar or a slice of lemon—and it's perfect for an afternoon cuppa. Discover the difference. You’ll never go back.

I don't drink from a small tea cup. My favorite cup holds about 4 regular cups. I also use a French Press to make my brew. One heaping spoon, David's Tea spoon, and then let it steep. Just the brew to get your start to the day.
We pick this up every year and it’s something I really look forward to as one of our holiday traditions. I am kind of disappointed with the overall lackluster presentation compared to previous years.
In previous years, they came in little tins that fit into boxes. They used to be a real work of art, with a super-heavy construction. They could easily be a centerpiece or left out for display. You could tell David’s tea used to put a lot of work and thought into its design. The first photo is from this year and the two other photos are from previous years. You can really see the difference.
The design, with the bags inside the boxes, does not work very well. The bags are slightly too big for the boxes, and they press against the inside, causing a slight deformation. Those boxes then fit into the slats inside the calendar, but the material is too flimsy, so the boxes either point slightly down or up and don't really want to stay in place. The overall effect looks forgettable and throw away.
This year, we will definitely be placing it in the tea cubby instead of on the fireplace mantel.I am sure the tea will be amazing as always. I am just a little disappointed in the execution.
My David's tea calendar arrived this week and it looks lovely and the box is sturdy and good quality. It smells divine and I almost wish I could dig into it myself instead of giving it away as a gift.
I was excited to get Maple Early Grey Tea which I just received the other day. Yesterday I brewed it in my David's Tea Steeper. I remember reading that this tea had Bean Peel in it and after tasting it, I found that it was a very peculiar tasting tea. It did not agree with my stomach and I realized that beans are one of the allergens I have and that was probably why.
I have never, ever, in all the David's Teas I have had, experienced such an immediate negative reaction to your teas. I do not mean to offend anybody and I am giving my two packets away to someone who might enjoy it more than I.
