Very Convenient

"I like it. It’s convenient for loose leaf tea. It has a good size to make a big cup of tea. I usually do 2 cups from the same loose leafs portion, I just steep the leafs twice. It’s relatively easy to clean, but because it’s all plastic, the tea will eventually discolor the mesh at the bottom. The mesh is more difficult to access and you can’t disassemble it to do deep cleaning. This doesn’t affect the functionality however. I was also afraid that it would leak or drip, but I’ve been using it for a few months now almost daily and so far it worked great, no leaking or dripping. The only drawback I see is that it’s all made of plastic."

"I like how easy it is to brew tea with this steeper although after a month or so of use, it is no longer clear. . . . . it's got a cloudy look to it now; even after cleaning multiple times with soap and water. Doesn't affect the steeping process, just surprised it looks worn so quickly."

My 16 oz clear colourless steeper is cloudy. It looks dirty when tho I wash it in soapy water after every use, and frequently disassemble it for mote thorough cleaning. Is there a way I can restore it to its former clean and clear appearance?: Hi there, Kathy J.! We wanted to share two of the methods we use to deep clean our Steepers. 😊 The first method calls for baking soda & vinegar: 1. Sprinkle all the parts with baking soda. Make sure to cover them all well. 2. Add enough vinegar to cover all the parts. You will start seeing bubbles. Let everything soak for 10 minutes. 3. Boil water and pour it in the mix. Let soak for another 10 minutes. 4. After that, wash and scrub one more time and voila - you’re ready to go! 🍵 Another method you can try is denture tablets—we've heard they work wonders! ✨
