Tried this one on a whim, looking for green tea to try, and I really like it. The toasted rice flavour is earthy and a nice complement to the green tea flavour.

MOI JE LE PREND FROID! J'adore trop sa goute le bubble tea. Honnetement les gouts sont vraiment relatif mais la note de 4. 2 en date du 25 juin 2026 cest pas suffisant. elle merite clairement un 5.
Shipping cost
The shipping cost was way too much. Paid the same for shipping as the tea. Won't do that again. My fault for not being aware. Purchased for a Taiwanese student so didn't taste it yet.
Tea taste great, not many I don't like. I am curious how a Tea Company lets itself run out of inventory ( of all things)... tea filters! It has now happened twice in the last year or two.
Otherwise all good.
Smells like something burnt on the stove
I didn't like it, the smell was what put me off. I found it smelled like something had burnt on the stove. The taste isn't bad though, like everyone has mentioned it tastes nutty with a hint of sweetness. Having said this, I don't regret trying it. It's just unfortunate that the smell puts me off.

Shopping for Sencha
I had another great experience at David's Tea in Fairview. Em was very helpful in filing my requirement for Sencha Organic tea. She gave me all the instructions and even weighed out what one perfect spoon of Sencha would be (4g if you're interested).

Steep at a lower temperature for pure heaven
Historically I haven't been a big green tea drinker. I ordered this due to its high rating and I noticed when it arrived that the instructions were to steep it at a lower temperature (170oF) and only for 1-2 minutes. I followed the directions carefully and the result was the most wonderful, complex, delicate flavor! It was so good that I recently ordered two more packages!
Please bring back the old Green Passionfruit Tea!
The Green Passionfruit Tea was my favorite everyday tea for many years - hot or iced - but it seems the ingredients or proportions have changed and it is no longer as flavorful or as aromatic as it used to be. So disappointed over this new version. Please bring back the old Green Passionfruit Tea!!! 🙏
