An organic green tea unlike any other, Organic Gyokuro Yamashiro (“Jade Dew”) is shaded for 6–7 weeks before harvest, increasing the chlorophyll in the leaves and creating its signature deep green colour and rich, revitalizing character. Only very small quantities of his rare, highly sought-after tea are imported from Japan, making it a true find for green tea lovers. We love its lush tea oil and chlorophyll notes, plus the intensely layered flavour of dark leafy greens and buttery sweetness in every sip. So. Good.

Richly oceanic and umami flavour with nutty notes of roasted chestnuts and buttered popcorn. Increased chlorophyll in the leaves give this tea a sweeter, grassier taste and a deeper green liquor.

"I purchased this tea after reading reviews of the boost the caffeine gave one. i’ve used Sakamotos teas ( since discontinued) which gave a great boost of clarity without the coffee rush. with only 2 pinches at 140 degrees F it was a revelation. With David’s tea, I did not experience the same clarity. So I was a bit disappointed. les watanabe"
