This design is different than the previous edition, as it has the click button on the lid instead of the lid that flips open. I really dislike the new lid design with the click button. It takes up more space in the container so you can fit less yea, and it is very hard to clean. There are multiple seals that get gunk stuck in them so you have to remove them every time you wash the press. The seals are hard to get on and off, and there are so many small little areas on the lid, it&rsquo;s impossible to fully get clean. Overall, I would not buy this again and I wish they would go back to the original lid design.</span> <div class="bvseo-pubdate">Date published: 2022-01-10</div> <meta itemprop="datePublished" content="2022-01-10" /> </div> <div class="bvseo-review" itemprop="review" itemscope itemtype="https://schema.org/Review" data-reviewid="264914630"> <span itemprop="reviewRating" itemscope itemtype="https://schema.org/Rating"> Rated <span itemprop="ratingValue">1</span> out of <span itemprop="bestRating">5</span> </span> by <span itemprop="author" itemtype="https://schema.org/Person" itemscope><span itemprop="name">Callum26</span></span> from <span itemprop="name">Low quality</span> <span itemprop="description">At first I thought this was pretty good, however the quality of the parts is very bad. I actually own 2 and my wife has one. All 3 broke in exactly the same place - the plastic filter insert - at the top when the cap screws in. I don&rsquo;t know if it can&rsquo;t stand hot water, or it has no tolerance for being tightened. Really disappointing. Also very environmentally poor because you can&rsquo;t get replacements and it&rsquo;s not easy to recycle. David&rsquo;s Tea should really look at the design of this product and improve it considerably.</span> <div class="bvseo-pubdate">Date published: 2023-01-01</div> <meta itemprop="datePublished" content="2023-01-01" /> </div> <div class="bvseo-review" itemprop="review" itemscope itemtype="https://schema.org/Review" data-reviewid="246837656"> <span itemprop="reviewRating" itemscope itemtype="https://schema.org/Rating"> Rated <span itemprop="ratingValue">2</span> out of <span itemprop="bestRating">5</span> </span> by <span itemprop="author" itemtype="https://schema.org/Person" itemscope><span itemprop="name">Wrong</span></span> from <span itemprop="name">It&rsquo;s ok</span> <span itemprop="description">I have had lots of these travel mugs. It does keep the tea hot. You have to soak the screen once in a while javex so the filter doesn&rsquo;t clog. The biggest problem is the inner plastic cracks after a while and you can&rsquo;t buy replacement parts. So the tea leaks into the outer sleeve then leaks. After a year you end up with lots of parts and pieces but only 1 mug.</span> <div class="bvseo-pubdate">Date published: 2021-06-14</div> <meta itemprop="datePublished" content="2021-06-14" /> </div> <div class="bvseo-review" itemprop="review" itemscope itemtype="https://schema.org/Review" data-reviewid="229385546"> <span itemprop="reviewRating" itemscope itemtype="https://schema.org/Rating"> Rated <span itemprop="ratingValue">5</span> out of <span itemprop="bestRating">5</span> </span> by <span itemprop="author" itemtype="https://schema.org/Person" itemscope><span itemprop="name">Jimmer</span></span> from <span itemprop="name">Perfect in every way!</span> <span itemprop="description">I have no idea what others are complaining about. This is the perfect product and does exactly what it&rsquo;s supposed to do. It keeps my tea hot (and I mean hot!) for hours. It&rsquo;s perfect for travel as it doesn&rsquo;t leak anywhere. All the parts fit together, making a perfect seal. and It fits in my car cup holder like a glove. And the press concept rather than infuser is a great idea! Again, to those who rate it low either don&rsquo;t know how to use it, or got a dud. I suggest you take it back for one like mine.</span> <div class="bvseo-pubdate">Date published: 2020-02-17</div> <meta itemprop="datePublished" content="2020-02-17" /> </div> <div class="bvseo-review" itemprop="review" itemscope itemtype="https://schema.org/Review" data-reviewid="253762091"> <span itemprop="reviewRating" itemscope itemtype="https://schema.org/Rating"> Rated <span itemprop="ratingValue">4</span> out of <span itemprop="bestRating">5</span> </span> by <span itemprop="author" itemtype="https://schema.org/Person" itemscope><span itemprop="name">KatyKat</span></span> from <span itemprop="name">Great but cleaning is ugh</span> <span itemprop="description">3.5 stars: I've had this mug for over a year and love it - sort of. It seems durable, possibly because it's never been in the dishwasher (even once - made that mistake with another mug, oops. Would love for this to be dishwasher safe!). It keeps tea hot for sure. No bag waste, no refillable tea filter needed, so easier to refill at work with just hot water if you resteep. Tea does taste a bit strong toward the end of the cup. Cup is top-heavy but does fit in a car holder. Even a 'lazy' washing takes longer than washing my usual travel mugs properly. Washing this one well takes a cotton swab and brush, a few more minutes and creative strategies, and the acceptance that some spots just won't be reached. Maybe a special brush and cleaning guide should be included. BUT the convenience of not having to stand around while my tea steeps? Priceless. I have teeth to brush, kids to get to bed, or whatever to do. The mug comes along and I just stop the brewing when needed. So I still love this - sort of - because tea drinking happens all the time, while the cleanings I save for when I have a few more minutes.</span> <div class="bvseo-pubdate">Date published: 2022-01-15</div> <meta itemprop="datePublished" content="2022-01-15" /> </div> <div class="bvseo-review" itemprop="review" itemscope itemtype="https://schema.org/Review" data-reviewid="263866780"> <span itemprop="reviewRating" itemscope itemtype="https://schema.org/Rating"> Rated <span itemprop="ratingValue">4</span> out of <span itemprop="bestRating">5</span> </span> by <span itemprop="author" itemtype="https://schema.org/Person" itemscope><span itemprop="name">Carly12345</span></span> from <span itemprop="name">Good but .. ..</span> <span itemprop="description">This tea press is great with one pretty big flaw, which is it's almost impossible to see the first fill line for hot water. Even standing directly in good light + tilting the cup, get ready to struggle with that. Then as if it's not hard enough to see, as soon as you start pouring hot water in you can't see it at all because it steams up. That's a problem because I always end up stopping too soon + having less tea because I don't want to overflow and burn myself. I would definitely buy again but a clear one next time !</span> <div class="bvseo-pubdate">Date published: 2022-12-10</div> <meta itemprop="datePublished" content="2022-12-10" /> </div> <div class="bvseo-review" itemprop="review" itemscope itemtype="https://schema.org/Review" data-reviewid="231836738"> <span itemprop="reviewRating" itemscope itemtype="https://schema.org/Rating"> Rated <span itemprop="ratingValue">5</span> out of <span itemprop="bestRating">5</span> </span> by <span itemprop="author" itemtype="https://schema.org/Person" itemscope><span itemprop="name">Gogome</span></span> from <span itemprop="name">You need this!</span> <span itemprop="description">If you dont have it, get it!
