Reset & Recharge

Make time for you with these super-charged teas

Get Started

When it comes to taking care of yourself, we believe everyone deserves a helping hand. The daily grind of work, home, eat, sleep, repeat, can leave you feeling tired and rundown. (That late-night binge-watching, though fun, probably isn't helping. Take it from a team that knows.)

Making time in your schedule to reset and recharge is key to staying both grounded and energized. Luckily, there are some magic ingredients – or, as they're more commonly called, adaptogens – in our routine-ready teas that can help you manage stress, feel focused, up your energy levels and get you to chill out at the end of the day.

Reset and Focus

Teas to boost your mood
When the pressure's on, but you need to focus, what do you do? Drop into happy baby pose deskside and take deep breathes until the stress subsides? While this sounds relaxing, we have a couple of suggestions that are less likely to alienate colleagues.

When you feel your concentration slipping or that anxiety heightening, take a break and let the adaptogens (more on that below) in these loose leaf teas soothe and recharge you.

Reishi Recharge

Loved for its adaptogenic properties, reishi is said to help to reduce stress. The fruity and refreshingly soothing flavour helps you to hit reset.

Blood Orange Boost

Blood orange freshness. The scent of memory-enhancing rosemary can lift your mood and help you concentrate.

Eucalyptus Mist

Help to soothe your stress and feel refreshed with cooling eucalyptus, peppermint and a hint of sweet aloe.

Adaptogens

What are they?
Though they’ve been used in traditional Chinese and Ayurvedic medicine for centuries, the term adaptogens was first coined by toxicologists in the 1940s. The term refers to plants or fungi that are said to help you adapt to stress and bring balance to your life.

What do they do?
Part of a holistic approach to fighting stress, adaptogens are believed to have an anti-fatigue effect that can lead to enhanced focus and calm.

Popular adaptogens
Several adaptogens can be found in our teas. Some of the most common ingredients include reishi, chaga, schizandra, ashwagandha, ginseng and tulsi (aka Holy Basil).

Energizing

Say bye-bye to sleepiness

Midday drowsiness, many of us feel it (who doesn’t love a Spanish siesta?), but not many of us know how to combat it. The post-lunch slump is a natural part of our body’s rhythm and is usually caused by a drop in your core body temperature.

When you feel your energy levels dip, or you find yourself drifting off at the computer (no shame!), these wake-up teas are super-charged with reviving ingredients to stimulate your system. Bonus: they also make the perfect early morning pick-me-up.

Guarana Chai

A game-changing blend of warm cinnamon, energizing guarana powder and invigorating pu’erh – it’s what pick-me-ups are made of.

Organic Lady Chaga

This well-balanced pu’erh is bursting with sweet vanilla, reishi and chaga, an adaptogen that’s said to help combat feelings of fatigue.

Guarana

What is it?
Guarana is a Brazilian plant native to the Amazon basin and is popular as an anti-aging ingredient. Research points to guarana having a high antioxidant potential. Guarana is best known as an ingredient in popular energy drinks.

What does it do?
Not only is guarana a natural source of caffeine, guarana seeds have additional energizing compounds that are said to help maintain focus and mental energy.

Decompress & unwind

Take a deep breath

Social distancing can feel a bit lonely. And boring.
But there are ways to make social distancing a bit easier (even, dare we say it, fun). We believe that the key to escaping the social distancing doldrums is getting creative with tea, so we've come up with a few tips on how to stay inspired.

Inhale, exhale, do some calming shoulder rolls while the water boils, and let these super soothing caffeine-free blends do the rest. Their relaxing aroma can have a calming effect that can help you feel less tense.

We believe tea brewing & aromatherapy has the power to bring us together. Share a cup of tea with a friend, send them your favourite blend. Everyone has a different tea routine — what’s yours?
