We were tasked with dreaming up a delicious, summery bevvie to serve at SundaeFest in Montreal, and this sweet cherry treat is the result! It made its debut at our pop-up during the event, and people absolutely loved it—and we bet you will too!

Calling for high-grade organic matcha and a drizzle of sweet, fruity syrup, it strikes the perfect balance between indulgence and a wholesome source of clean, longhaul caffeine. It’s the perfect hot weather treat (or cold—really, just whenever).

Things to Note: We recommend using a bamboo whisk—soak in hot water for about a minute before you start to keep it in good condition! 

When you whisk your matcha, make an “M” (for matcha!) formation with your movements. 

Using unsweetened matcha? Make sure to sift it to get the clumps out.

ingredients:

2 Perfect Matcha Spoons (1 tsp) Organic Grand Cru Matcha

3 oz (90 ml) hot water

1 oz (30 ml) cherry syrup

5 oz (150 ml) milk of choice

Bamboo Matcha Whisk

Matcha Bowl


recipe:
  1. Add the matcha powder to your matcha bowl

  2. Pour in your hot water and whisk it good

  3. Drizzle cherry syrup around the inside of your cup

  4. Fill with ice

  5. Pour in your milk of your choice

  6. Top up with prepared matcha

  7. Feeling fancy? Add some whipped cream and garnish with a maraschino cherry
